Flights

The recommended airport is Hartford's Bradley Airport (code BDL), which is only 15 miles from downtown Hartford and serves the top airline carriers in the U.S., as well as a direct flight from Dublin by Aer Lingus. The Bradley Flyer bus provides a quick and easy connection to downtown Hartford seven days a week. The Flyer stops directly in front of the Convention Center. Taxi fares to downtown Hartford are around $45. The airport is served by all major rental car companies.

Alternative airports, may be suitable to those using rental cars or unable to get connections to Bradley Airport: Boston's Logan Airport (code BOS) is 100 miles from downtown Hartford. New York's JFK Airport (code JFK) is 120 miles from downtown Hartford. Newark Liberty International Airport (code EWR) is 130 miles from downtown Hartford. All of these airports are within 2-2:30 hours drive and all are served by major rental car companies. There is also the possibility of using Connecticut Limo which provides transportation from JFK and Newark to Hartford, either as a shared ride or as a private service.

Hartford
